Taronga Zoo · Mosman, Sydney Harbour
This is Taronga's own general admission, sold through GetYourGuide: one day at the zoo with every keeper talk and both daily shows. Pick it if you'll cross on the public F2 ferry, come by bus or drive, because the ferry is not part of it.

Taronga Zoo sells this ticket itself, through GetYourGuide. It gets you through the gate for one day, and everything the zoo runs for general visitors comes with it: more than a dozen keeper talks a day, Seals for the Wild at 11am and 2pm, and Free Flight Birds at 12pm and 3pm, flown against the harbour skyline (the zoo's daily timetable). You pick a start time at checkout. Free cancellation runs up to 24 hours before.
Read the includes list on the listing with care. Next to the entry and the keeper talks, it also names transport, food and drinks, and parking. A zoo ticket covers none of those. The ferry is a separate Opal fare on the public F2 from Circular Quay Wharf 4, the cafes charge as usual, and the car park off Bradleys Head Road is paid. Want the boat in the same booking? Look at the Captain Cook ferry combo instead.
The other thing no ticket fixes is the hill. Taronga covers 28 hectares of steep headland, and the Sky Safari cable car that used to lift people up from the wharf retired in 2023. Its replacement is due in late 2027 (closures and works). Ferry passengers land by the Lower Entrance. Our advice: ride bus 238 from the wharf to the Main Entrance and walk the zoo downhill, finishing by the water. The bus is a normal paid fare; a free shuttle runs in NSW school holidays.
Take the public F2 ferry from Circular Quay Wharf 4 and tap on with a card or phone. Bus 100 from the QVB, or a car via Bradleys Head Road, work too.
Gates open at 9:30am. From the wharf, walk 3 minutes to the Lower Entrance, or ride bus 238 up to the Main Entrance and start at the top.
The animals are livelier early. Head for the African Savannah, Tiger Trek and Nura Diya Australia before the crowds build.
Seals for the Wild at 11am or 2pm, Free Flight Birds at 12pm or 3pm. On busy days, get to the theatre 15 minutes early.
The zoo closes at 5pm from September to April and at 4:30pm from May to August. Finish at the Lower Entrance, a short walk from the wharf.

Either works with this ticket. The ferry lands by the Lower Entrance, 3 minutes from the wharf. The Main Entrance is at the top, on Bradleys Head Road, where bus 238 stops. We'd start at the top and walk down.
